Lima Stock Exchange starts the day with losses in 10 indicators

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) begins the day with losses at the opening of the day on Tuesday, March 15, with 10 indicators in red and only 2 in green, after the slight advance in the consumption sector. At 9:50 am, the S&P/BVL Peru General index, the most representative of the Lima stock market, fell -0.43% to 24,323.4 points.

For its part, the S&P/BVL Peru Selective index, which is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, recorded a decline of -0.32% and stood at 635.12 units.

The consumer sector led the gains with an advance of 0.07%. The mining and financial items registered losses with -1.12% and -0.80%, respectively. While industrial, services, electricity and construction did not present variations.

Today President Castillo appears before the plenary session of the Congress of the Republic at 5 pm in which he will deliver a message, although the topics he will cover are not known. On the other hand, on Monday, March 28, the vacancy motion against the president will be debated in Congress.
