Ukrainian defender Yaroslav Rakitskiy may continue his career in the Turkish Championship. It is reported by Metaratings.
As it became known to the publication, the footballer turned down several offers in the winter transfer window, hoping to extend the contract with Zenit St. Petersburg. Later, Rakitskiy terminated the contract with blue-white-blue and began new negotiations with Turkish clubs. It is noted that in the summer transfer window, he can move to Istanbul or Alanyaspor.
Rakitskiy left Zenit on March 2. The player’s contract was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties. The head coach of the blue-and-white-dods, Sergei Semak, stressed that he was grateful to the 32-year-old defense player for three years of work.
The Ukrainian defender joined Zenit in 2019. This season, he has 23 matches in all competitions, in which he scored two goals and made six assists.
