The Spanish Government will approve a response plan on March 29 that will include tax cuts

Pedro Sánchez has announced that the plan will include “tax rebates”, without specifying which ones, since he plans to speak with the social agents and with the parliamentary groups beforehand. In addition, he has insisted on delinking the price of gas from the price of electricity.

The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, has announced that the Council of Ministers will approve on March 29 the response plan to the consequences of the war in Ukraine, which will include tax cuts.

In an interview in La Sexta, he reported that this plan is going to include “tax rebates”, without specifying which ones, since the Government plans to speak with social agents and parliamentary groups beforehand.

On the other hand, he has insisted on the need to delink the price of gas from the price of electricitya proposal that Spain will present at the European Council on March 24 and 25.

In another order of things, Pedro Sánchez has advocated increasing the defense budget to gradually reach the target set by NATO of 2% of GDP. According to him, this is the Government’s commitment and it will propose it to the rest of the political groups when it is time to draw up the next General State Budgets.
