Along these lines, the congressman of the Avanza País Parliamentary Group, Juan Bartolomé Burgos, supported his bill before the Labor and Social Security Commission, the purpose of which is that those 65-year-old members who have made contributions between five and ten years to the ONP and have not accessed a pension can be incorporated into the Social Health Security (Essalud).
And the fact is that, although last year a law so that members who prove at least ten years of contributions have access to proportional pensions, those who do not meet this minimum condition have been left unprotected, Therefore, this initiative would seek that they can have health insurance.

It is a right that is not granted by the Public Pension System, generating a situation of inequality. Those workers who have accredited contributions of less than ten years do not have access to any pension, nor to the right to public health by Essalud, even when their contributions are accredited”, sustained the parliamentarian.
Regarding affiliates who have less than five years of contributions, the congressman Burgos specified that This issue will be analyzed in the working subgroup that was formed to see the problem of the ONP, where the officials of said entity and the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) will be invited.
DL 20530 pensions readjusted
The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) readjusted the pensions received by the beneficiaries of the Decree Law No. 20530 regime, who have reached the age of 65 or over, as of December 31, 2021, whose annualized value does not exceed the amount of 28 Tax Tax Units.
Thus, the amount of said readjustment will amount to S/ 30 per month for pensioners that meet the aforementioned conditions.
