Unai Sordo: “This should not be a final point law, we must continue talking about some issues”

The coalition government made up of PSOE and United We Can will approve the labor reform today, since it has a sufficient majority to carry it forward.

The general secretary of the CCOO union of Euskadi, unai deafwas interviewed this Thursday on Radio Euskadi’s ‘Boulevard’ program to talk about the labor reform law that the Congress of Deputies will approve today.

“Is should not be an endpoint law, we must continue talking about some issues. That is to say, today a decree law is going to be validated, and from there we must continue dealing with some content”, he highlighted.

Asked if he is concerned that the Sánchez government has achieved a result that “turns more to the right”, Sordo has replied that certain forces have made a reading that has little to do with labor reform. “It is more related to electioneering readings“, has nuanced.

“There are too much at stake. This has been a very punctual scenariol, but we have to take into account that there are points that also affect both Basque workers,” he detailed.

convinced that it is a positive reform to improve people’s employment, he has referred to the confusion that has been generated in terms of regional agreements: “Today’s is not a matter of substantive content, today it is time to validate the reform. The interconfederal agreements are on an equal footing with the from the rest of the State”, he concluded.
