The National Superintendence of Labor Inspection (sunafil) reported that it opened a total of 20 inspection orders to investigate the situation of the contracted workers, dedicated to cleaning the area of the oil spill, caused by the Repsol company.
These investigations involve 14 companies and a district council. The inspection orders were opened after conducting interviews with the workers on the Costa Azul, Cavero and Ancón beaches, where the situation in which they have been working was learned.
The entity realized that ten of these inspection orders are intended to verify if the workers hired by the supervised companies have Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and if they have been provided with Complementary Risk Work Insurance (SCTR). Also, they contemplate the verification of the dining rooms, first-aid kits, changing rooms, hygienic services, induction registration, training, training and emergency drills.
The other 10 orders have been opened to evaluate what is related to the payment of wages, employment contracts and the registration of workers in the payroll of the companies that have hired them.
It should be noted that all inspection orders are being processed according to the legal term, which ends after 30 business days.
