San Marino Shopping begins remodeling for the arrival of national and international brands

The American brands Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works arrived in this shopping center in 2021.

San Marino Shopping announced its renovation process that began a few days ago and is expected to be completed in eight months.

The restructuring includes adaptation of its facilities for the arrival of national and international brands, some of which will enter the market for the first time.

Victoria’s Secret opens its first store in Ecuador

This action, according to the shopping center owned by the DK Management business group, seeks to enhance its architecture by merging the traditional features of Guayaquil with modernity.

A little over a week ago, the mall’s Instagram account showed a preview of the adjustments, causing interest among the public.

Some users commented on the brands they want to see in San Marino and others recommended lucky machines.

There are also citizens who inquire about vacancies such as Anita, to whom the shopping center responded by attaching an email.

The changes will require a significant investment aimed at reactivation, thus generating new jobs.

“The remodeling demonstrates the shopping center’s commitment to the city and the country, betting on economic reactivation with a view to a future with more sources of employment and greater opportunities in Ecuador,” says the statement from San Marino Shopping.

During the remodeling time, The shopping center will continue to attend normally to the public during their usual hours.

With this project, San Marino Shopping will have international brands along with Ecuadorian commercial establishments such as De Prati, Etafashion, Marathon, Pycca, Pinto, among others.

Other world-renowned stores are currently operating, such as Carolina Herrera, Hugo Boss, Zara, Victoria’s Secret, Muy Mucho, Bath & Body Works, Bimba and Lola.

Bath & Body Works opened its first physical store in Ecuador

In 2021, the American brands Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works arrived at the mall.

Victoria’s Secret opened in December showcasing its fragrances blackberry fizz, glittering iris, vainilla sparkle, champagne petals and her Dream Angels and Very Sexy collections.

While Bath & Body Works opened in November offering body care products (creams, shower gel, mist and scrubs) and for the home (three-wick candles, one-wick candles and wildflowers).

Both brands were brought by Grupo David Enterprises, a conglomerate of various companies based in Panama.

The mall opened on July 25, 2003, and approximately 180 stores operate.

The business group DK Management also manages Quicentro Shopping, Quicentro Sur, Granados Plaza, San Luis Shopping, Portal Shopping, Quito Airport Center in the capital; Maltería Plaza in Latacunga and Mall del Pacífico in Manta. Soon they will open the Bombolí Shopping in Santo Domingo. (I)
