Peru was America’s leading supplier of blueberries with a participation of 34% of the total and an increase of 3% compared to the previous year. Peruvian blueberry exports to the US market reached 105,100 tons with a value of US$659 million, which meant a growth of 25% in volume and 20% in value compared to 2020.
This progress is due to the fact that the American cultivation of this fruit did not reach pre-pandemic levels and was unable to supply market demand.

They also reported that the second country with the largest number of shipments was Canada, with a 26% share (2% less than 2020), followed by Mexico, with a 21% market share (3% less than the last year).
