A new armed attack in Quevedo claimed the life of a minor and left several members of her family injured.

There is commotion in Quevedo, Los Ríos, due to the crime of Triniti, a 13-year-old teenager. The minor celebrated her confirmation with her family and friends since Saturday night. During the early hours of this Sunday unknown subjects entered the house and shot at all those present at the party.

During the party, according to the witnesses’ version, it was several armed men who, aboard two vans, fired without mercy first at the house, then entered the house and attacked everyone present with bullets. They later fled.
So far, the Police have collected multiple 9-millimeter and 2.23-caliber ballistic evidence (rifle) at the crime scene. A Ford truck, model F150, black, as well as a taxi-type vehicle, Hyundai brand, and another Volkswagen brand car, Tiguan model, had several bullet wounds.
For this violent act so far there are no detainees, the Police reported.
There are already several armed attacks that are recorded in Quevedo. The last one was in the San Camilo parish when armed individuals attacked several people who were in the doorway of a house while they were talking and drinking.
