This Thursday, December 30, from 9:00 am it will take place in the Peasant Community of Huaninquiri (Cusco) a meeting between the Government, MMG Las Bambas and the zonal leaders, in order to end the protests in said section of the southern mining corridor.
The participation of local authorities and the Executive, such as the Prime Minister Mirtha Vásquez and the Minister of Energy and Mines, Eduardo Gonzáles, are scheduled for said day. The Minister of the Environment, Rubén Ramírez and the Minister of Agrarian Development, Victor Maita, among others, are also scheduled.
On the side of MMG Las Bambas, the intervention of its manager, Carlos Castro, is expected.
The Executive will present its proposal entitled Special Attention Zone, which will be supported by Vásquez Chuquilín and the Vice Minister of Finance of the MEF, Gustavo Guerra García.
