The exchange rate started today on the rise at S/3.7968, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency quotation portal. That is, 0.13% more than the previous day, when it closed at S/3.7920.
In the parallel market, the greenback is priced at S/3,780 for purchase and S/3,810 for sale; while in the banking market, it is priced at S/3,748 and S/3,836 for purchase and sale, respectively.
On the other hand, Inflation in the United States stood at an annual rate of 2.6% in Maydown from the peak of 7.1% reached during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, although the Fed has made great strides in reducing inflation, it is still not reaching its target rate of 2%.
