Aquaculture and forestry companies would have tax benefits

After the plenary session of Congress grants limited powers to the Executive to legislate on tax matters, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has been preparing several legislative decrees that must be published before the end of the year so that they can be in force throughout 2022.

One of the measures that the Executive has been refining are the tax incentives that the aquaculture and forestry sectors would once again have. As it is recalled, these industries were not considered in the new agrarian regime law.

According to official figures, around 4,000 companies would benefit from these tax benefits.
