The National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) is the Peruvian entity in charge of managing, collecting and supervising the internal taxes of the national government, which is why it often seizes assets as a precautionary measure against a tax debt.
All the internal taxes seized by the entity have been put up for sale at auction prices and online. On its website you will find vehicles, appliances, various merchandise and real estate. The auctions are carried out in all departments of Peru and participation as a bidder is free.
What are the requirements to participate in the Sunat auction?
- Original identity document (DNI) and copy.
- Have a RUC number, in the case of legal entities.
- Current registration entry, in case of representation of a natural or legal person.
How to participate in the Sunat auction?
If you are interested in being part of the auctions carried out by Sunat, you will be able to obtain detailed information about the seized assets and the conditions in which they are found through their website. There you can find all the information necessary for your participation.

Next, we will detail in five simple steps what you must do to be part of the Sunat auctions:
- Know the auction calls: Enter their website through the following link and review the calls and the assets available for auction. Write down the address, date and time of the ship of interest to you.
- Come to the auction venue: Go to the venue with your ID and a copy, 20 minutes before the event starts. If you represent another person (natural or legal), show the original of the validity of the power of attorney no older than 30 calendar days as of the date of the auction.
- Register as a bidder: Enter your information in the registration form. Your number assigned as a bidder will allow officials to know your location.
- Make payment: Cancel the corresponding amount of the purchased good. Payment can be in cash, certified or cashier’s check payable to Sunar/Banco de la Nación, and up to the 4th business day after the auction. If it has not been canceled within the indicated period, the coercive executor will declare the auction null and void.
- Receive the good: After verifying your information and making payment, you will receive the award resolution and the entity will proceed with the delivery of the good.
