Fudges from Poland are a hit in Saudi Arabia
However, the tourists described in the media were not the only ones who loved sweets from Poland. It turns out that fudge has recently become very popular in Arab countries – including Saudi Arabia. During my visit to Riyadh, I visited several grocery stores. In each of them I saw a sweet delicacy from Poland.
The price for fudge, depending on the size of the package, ranged from PLN 10 to PLN 20 per package. However, sweets were much more expensive at the airport. There, some products of this type cost as much as PLN 50-60. Interestingly, I even noticed sweets that were produced especially for the Arab market.
