AFP Withdrawal: review the ‘free’ schedule for people who did not register their application on the first dates

More than 260,000 withdrawal requests from private pension funds were registered last Friday, June 14, as reported by the AFP Association. Until now, citizens whose last digit of their National Identity Document (DNI) ranges from 1 to 9, have carried out this procedure for free through the website solicitetiroafp.pe.

Likewise, AFP members with a DNI ending in 0 or another symbol have a deadline to register their orders on Monday, June 17. After that, a third opportunity will be opened for those who could not complete the disbursement procedure of up to S/20,600. Once these dates have expired, the official schedule stipulates a free period that begins in July.

AFP Retirement 2024: when does the free schedule without ID start?

The free schedule for the withdrawal of the AFPs will begin on July 2 and will run until August 17. During this period, members will be able to register their request without having to follow an order based on the last number of their ID. This measure seeks to simplify the process and prevent those who were not able to complete the procedure on the original dates from being left without the possibility of accessing their pension funds.

Before starting the virtual procedure, it is essential to check compliance with the requirements established by the AFP. Generally, you are required to be over 18 years old and have an active account in one of the four AFPs. Once confirmation is made, you must access the AFP Association portal and follow the instructions provided:

  • Enter the link: www.solicitaretiroafp.pefrom Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm
  • Click on the ‘I want to withdraw’ option,
  • Next, navigate to the bottom of the page and click ‘Start Application’.
  • Choose the type of document you have: DNI, immigration card, passport, temporary residence permit and others.
  • Write your DNI number and the verification digit.
  • Enter your expiration date.
  • Click ‘I’m not a robot’ and then ‘consult’.
  • If you are on the right date and time, you will be able to register your request.
  • Then, indicate the amount to withdraw up to the maximum allowed of 4 UIT.
  • Provide contact information such as place of residence, account number, email, among others. In this way, your request will be registered.
  • Click ‘Register Request’ to complete the process.

AFP retirement schedule, June: third dates to request up to 4 UIT

During the month of June, the third dates were enabled for affiliates to request the withdrawal of up to 4 UIT (S/20,500) from their AFP funds. This period was established for those who were not able to complete the procedure on the first two dates, providing a new opportunity to access their pension savings.

It is relevant to mention that these additional dates, which begin on Tuesday, June 18 and conclude on Monday, July 1, are not the days in which any member, regardless of the last digit of their identity document, can request withdrawal. Below, we present all the details of the schedule:

  • If your ID ends in 1, register your application on June 18.

AFP Withdrawal: can I submit my application if my DNI has expired?

One of the most frequently asked questions among members is whether they can submit their AFP withdrawal request if their DNI has expired. The answer is yes. During the free schedule period, members can register their application even if their ID is not valid. This measure seeks to facilitate access to pension funds and prevent the lack of an updated document from being an obstacle.

Next, review the following instructions regarding the DNI:

  1. If your ID is expired, you can use it without problems.
  2. If your DNI was issued after May 10 of this year, you must use your previous document to make the request.
