73% of factory and frontline workers are the least optimistic about the use of AI in the workplace, according to ManpowerGroup.
To date, 62% of Peruvian companies stated that they already use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their processes, including generative conversational AI. Compared to a year ago, there is an increase of 18%, detailed ManpowerGroup Perú.
However, optimism among members of a company is not the same: 73% of frontline or factory workers are the least enthusiastic; while office workers and professionals are the ones who value AI the most (79%). They are followed by leaders and supervisors and managers, with 78% and 77%, respectively.
And, regionally, 66% of frontline workers barely believe that AI will positively impact the future of work.
For 63% of companies, The main drivers of work engagement and productivity are: improvement of technological tools (63%), emphasis on general well-being (58%) and greater focus on purpose and values (58%).
On the other hand, regarding the expectations of the next generation of workers, 35% of Peruvian employers see technological adaptation, such as the use of generative AI, as their main challenge; 31%, to compensation mechanisms and 30%, the commitment and motivation of its staff.
