Ukrainian Yaroslava Maguchikh is going to “pull out the patties” of her rival from Russia

Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Maguchikh spoke about her attitude towards her rival from Russia, Elena Kulichenko, who changed her Russian sports citizenship to Cypriot. The words of the Mighty are quoted by tribuna.com.

“She is so pro-Russian. I remember her from the European Championships, when they were allowed to compete. If Kulichenko made contact, then I would not make contact with her. I’d rather pull out the patches,” said Maguchikh.

The Ukrainian high jumper also said that she was glad that Russians and Belarusians were not allowed to attend the Olympics in Paris in full force. She noted that she would like a ban on performances even for those Russian athletes who changed their sports citizenship.

On December 8, the IOC announced the admission of Russians and Belarusians to the Olympics in Paris. They will only be able to take part in the tournament as Individual Neutral Athletes (AIN). At the same time, athletes who support a special operation in Ukraine, or who have connections with the armed forces or security agencies of Russia and Belarus will not be allowed to participate in the Games.
