Eduardo Jáuregui, president of the Chamber of Tourism and Foreign Trade of Paracas – Capatur, expressed confidence that the Judiciary will reject the request to start industrial fishing in the Paracas National Reserve, promoted by the National Fisheries Society (SNP). .

The union maintains that “nature must be respected” and argued that “the judges will be wise and will defend the sea, defend life and defend the environment.”

“We know that the judges are in favor of mother nature, the sea and the environment,” Jáuregui said.

It is worth adding that the SNP filed a lawsuit against the National Fisheries Society (SNP) to allow industrial fishing in the Paracas reserve. The decision rests with the Second Constitutional Chamber of the Court of Lima.

According to the SNP, El Niño hit the industrial extraction of anchovy, so they intend to capture this resource in a protected area.
