Turkish volleyball players were outraged by flying to the USA for the League of Nations in economy class
Volleyball players of the Turkish national team expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s flight to the United States for the League of Nations. This was reported by Ekonomim.
National team players Ebrar Karakurt and Zehra Güneş were outraged because they were given economy class seats for the 13-hour flight. “Turkish Airlines stated that the responsibility lies with the volleyball federation,” the material notes.
THY, which sponsors the transport of the Turkish Volleyball Federation, also denied responsibility for the situation. The organization clarified that the relevant sports federation is dealing with transfer issues.
Earlier, Karakurt, who plays for Lokomotiv Kaliningrad, started a fight in one of the nightclubs in Istanbul. While intoxicated, the athlete attacked singer Melsum Erdost during her performance.
