Consult Sisfoh 2024: Midis link to find out with DNI if your home has been classified as poor

Do you want to know if your family has been classified as living in poverty or extreme poverty? This is possible thanks to the Household Targeting System (Sisfoh). The platform of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (midis) segments the population, according to its socioeconomic information, with the objective that State bonuses, social programs and access to free services reach those who really need them. Only with your National Identity Document (DNI) will you be able to know if you appear in the General Household Register (PGH). Here, we explain how you can make this consultation from your home and the categories established by the Household Targeting System (Sisfoh) in your database. Remember that accessing the Government platform is completely free and if they ask you for any payment, it is a scam that seeks to violate your data.

How do I know if my home will be visited by an enumerator?

Various municipalities manage traveling campaigns in strategic areas. If you want to know if they will visit your home, you must pay attention to the commune of the district where you live.

It is important to remember that properly uniformed personnel will visit your home. These personnel must wear a vest with the “Sisfoh – ULE” badge and a photo check from the municipality. In addition, you will carry registration materials, such as tokens and boards. The person in charge will collect information about your home and will be familiar with the reality of your neighborhood.

Currently, a total of 36 local governments in Metropolitan Lima, such as San Juan de Lurigancho, San Martín de Porres, Comas, Ate, Los Olivos, Villa El Salvador, Independencia, Carabayllo, La Molina and others, are being visited by enumerators, what you should be aware of.

This is how you can get the Sisfoh or update it for your home

Visit the Local Registration Unit (ULE) in your municipality with the DNI of all the members of your family and the service receipts. There, apply and complete the S100 application form. Remember that any adult in the household can carry out this procedure.

Prepare for a possible visit from the municipality if you have applied for your socioeconomic classification (CSE). This process is crucial to determine your financial situation. However, some households, such as those with newborns, children under 18 years of age with previous CSE or residents in Amazonian communities, may be exempt from this visit according to current regulations. For more details, see the Government link.

The response to your request will be known approximately 25 business days after registration. You can check the status of the procedure by calling (01) 6318000 (annexes: 1750, 1780, 1777, 1756), from Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, or by email to sisfoh@midis.gob.pe.

These are the Sisfoh classification criteria

The classification in Sisfoh is carried out using a detailed methodology that considers various socioeconomic criteria to accurately evaluate the needs and conditions of each home. This system categorizes households into three main groups:

  • Non-poor household: it has sufficient economic resources to cover the average cost of the basic family basket.
  • Poor household: it does not have the economic means necessary to meet the average cost of the basic family basket.
  • Household in extreme poverty: it does not have the capacity to cover the per capita amount necessary for survival.
