Exchange rate: dollar starts stable at S/3.7385 this Monday, May 20

The dollar exchange rate started stable this Monday, May 20, and stood at S/3.7385, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency exchange portal.

In the previous session on Friday, the greenback had started its career at S/3.7315 and then progressed to S/3.7390 marked by the official board of the Central Reserve Bank (BCRP).

At the local level, Petroperú today entered Lot X, the most important in northwest Peru. It will be the fourth batch to operate since its return to the upstream.

At the international level, the United States Federal Reserve will publish the minutes of its last meeting this week and several officials will give speeches that could change the tone of the global economy.

The North American nation, China, the euro zone and the United Kingdom will release PMI (Purchasing Managers Composite Index) data for May, reflecting the health of the global economy.
