The exchange rate started rising with S/3.7447, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency exchange portal. That is, 0.13% more than the previous day.
In the parallel market, the greenback is at S/3.70 for purchase and S/3.74 for sale; while in banking, the purchase and sale is at S/3,741 and S/3,772, respectively.
On the other hand, data on housing starts and construction permits for March will be published on the American agenda. In that sense, the Federal Reserve (Fed) will publish industrial production figures. Meanwhile, the benchmark 10-year US Treasury yield remains above 4.6% after rising nearly 2% on Monday.
So far this year, the dollar has accumulated a variation of 0.89% and in interannual terms, of -0.95%, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).
