The competition between the United States and China for economic, political, technological, military and cultural hegemony is a topic of international interest. Along these lines, the Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), Pedro Barrientos Felipa, and the Commission Responsible for the Celebrations of the 149th anniversary of the faculty, have organized the master conference “Conjuncture International: The Conflict between the USA and Popular China and the Role of Latin America”, with the aim of studying geopolitics on a global scale between the aforementioned powers.
Humberto Campodónico Sánchez, main professor of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and international consultant, will be the speaker and the comments will be given by Carlos Aquino Rodríguez, also main professor of the faculty and director of the “Center for Asian Studies” (CEAS) of the UNMSM.
The academic event will take place this Tuesday, April 16 at 11:00 am, in the Graduate Hall of the Faculty of Economic Sciences (Old Pavilion) and will be aimed at both students of the university community and the general public. .
