Midagri: delivery of 11 tractors valued at S / 5.5 million to the peasant community of Cajamarca

The Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Víctor Maita, delivered a batch of 11 tractors to the peasant community of Michiquillay (La Encañada) in Cajamarca to promote the crops of small farmers in the Cajamarca region.

The tractors had a total cost of S / 5.5 million, of which Agroideas invested S / 4.4 million with a counterpart of S / 1.1 million.

This delivery was carried out together with the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, as part of the agricultural modernization actions of the second agrarian reform, aimed at strengthening family farming.

CAN SEE:

There are 11 associations, made up in total by 1,300 people dedicated to dairy production. These have tractors, plows, harrows and forage harvesters, which will contribute to improving the sowing and harvesting processes of their pastures in feeding livestock.

“We deliver this machinery to producers, which will allow them to improve the production of their crops,” said Minister Maita.
