Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of the day provided a series of bonuses that are no longer in force and in some cases information is circulating about subsidies that no longer exist. What are the bonds that are no longer valid in 2024?

In contrast to 2023, when supplementary credits were approved that included a series of extraordinary subsidies for public sector workers and to help families affected by the housing collapse, this year only some economic compensations are in force. Likewise, various bonuses that were delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic no longer exist or are no longer valid, such as the ones we present below:

  • Yanapay Bonus: It was a financial support of S/350, the payment of which ended in April 2022. Although it benefited more than 13.5 million Peruvians living in poverty, extreme poverty or users of the Juntos, Pensión 65 or Contigo programs, It is no longer valid today.
  • Universal Family Bonus: This subsidy of S/760 was delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic and was paid to thousands of households nationwide. However, the official State website corroborates that said bonus has been disabled since December 31, 2020.
  • Food Bonus: The delivery of this bonus began in November 2022 and ended on April 30, 2023. This financial aid was aimed at people in situations of poverty or extreme poverty.
  • Bonus of S/470: There is no such bonus at all. It is possible to find information regarding one of the amounts that were paid for Fertiabono II, which is not currently valid either.

February 2024: what bonuses can currently be collected?

According to Emergency Decree No. 038-2023, more than 45,000 artisanal fishermen have been benefiting from the delivery of the second bonus of S/700, which is paid by the National Fisheries Development Fund (Fondepes) until February 28 of this year. anus. Lease bonus for emergencies of S/500

Bonus for teachers of S/380

According to the Collective Bargaining Agreement 2023-2024, signed between the Ministry of Education (Minedu) and the Unitary Union of Education Workers of Peru (Sutep), the delivery of a special bonus of S/380 has been established for the year 2024. Although the details to begin delivery to teachers are not yet known, Minedu plans to carry it out during the first three months of this year.
