The Ministry of Production (Produce) appointed career diplomat Noela María Eufemia Pantoja Crespo as the new vice minister in the Vice Ministry of Mype and Industry.
Through supreme resolution No. 001-2024-PRODUCE, the Peruvian Government appoints Pantoja Crespo to the position that has been vacant since September 2023, when lawyer Carla Paola Sosa Vela resigned.
In this interim, the vice-ministerial office of Mype and Industry was entrusted to the vice-minister of Fisheries, Úrsula León Chempén, and the head of the Cabinet of Advisors of the Ministerial Office of Produce, Samuel Torres Tello.
The new vice minister is a diplomat who has also held positions in the Directorate of Antarctic Affairs of the Foreign Ministry and as Consul General of Peru in La Plata.
