The private sector continues to join campaigns to donate food and other products to support the police and military patrolling the streets. The National Chamber of Aquaculture (CNA) has made available its facilities, located in the Las Cámaras building, on Francisco de Orellana Avenue, in the north of Guayaquil, to turn them into a collection center for cleaning and non-perishable products to be distributed by law enforcement agencies in coordination with the national government.

Burgers, bolón, coffee, energy bars and food in general are donated by companies and entrepreneurs to uniformed police officers who patrol the streets of Ecuador

The union assured that it recognizes the determination of the Government and its law enforcement forces to deal with the serious internal crisis of terrorism affecting the country. “Aware of the heroism demonstrated by those in uniform in various areas of the national territory, CNA wants to contribute actively and in solidarity… We invite our members, affiliated companies and other productive export unions to join this day of solidarity under the motto “Joining forces”, it says in to the press release of CNA this morning, this Thursday, January 11.

The main goal is to make an initial donation of 2,000 hygiene packs and non-perishable food for the national police and armed forces. Each kit will consist of essentials for daily well-being, such as alcohol, noodles, hand soap, oil, toothpaste, rice, blanket, water, toilet paper, coffee, toothbrush and sugar.

Donations will be distributed in the provinces of Guayas, Manabí, El Oro and Esmeraldas.
