- Be under 70 years old and be a client of Banco de la Nación.
- Have a MultiRed Debit card.
- Present your identity document or immigration card.
If you decide to take out plan 1 of funeral insurance or are designated as an insured, you must prove yourself and sign the policy. Additionally, you can request membership in person at any bank agency.
Funeral insurance from Banco de la Nación: what are the requirements?
- Plan 1 (individual) with a premium of S/4.70, which covers parents, brothers, uncles, nephews, godchildren or any third party.
- Plan 2 (family) with a premium of S/18.90, which covers the owner, spouse and up to 3 children under 18 years of age.

To access funeral insurance from Banco de la Nación, follow these steps:
- Go to the nearest branch of Banco de la Nación during the established hours.
- Request membership in funeral insurance, presenting the necessary documents to the bank staff.
- Sign the contract to obtain the insurance. Please note that if you choose plan 1, both you and those designated as insured in the policy must be accredited and sign the document. If the person responsible for payment signs in the insured’s box or leaves it at the bank, the sale will be invalidated.

- Transfer: S/800, in the event that the death does not occur in the city of origin of the insured, the beneficiaries will be compensated according to the policy or successors of the affiliate
- Educational benefit: S/1,200 for each child (maximum 3)
- Accidental death: If the death occurs within 90 days of the accident occurring, the beneficiaries of the insured will be paid additionally.
- Sudden family helplessness: S/10,000 to the beneficiaries of the insured, according to the policy or successors of the affiliate
