Thus, the opening brings a variation of 0.6% compared to the closing of Friday, December 29 – the last day recorded by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP)— when it was located at S/3.7070.
In the parallel market, specifically the money changers of Jirón de la Unión, the green currency is bought at S/3.70 and sold at S/3.73.
While at the interbank level, the BCP offers S/3,676 for the purchase and S/3,767 for the sale.
It should be added that economic analysts and companies in the financial system project that the dollar will end in 2024 at S/3.80, according to the BCRP macroeconomic expectations survey. Its maximum would be S/3.85.
