Twelve companies were awarded in eight categories of Commerce Awards, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil for companies or organizations that stood out during the year with projects aimed at economic, social and environmental development.
A total of 25 companies applied from July to October for these awards, including: Holcim, Claro, Ambiensa, Nirsa, Grupo Mavesa, Aje Ecuador, Nestlé, Ecotec, among others, and a qualifying jury selected the first places for each category.
Miguel Ángel González will continue to lead the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil
Miguel Ángel González, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil, pointed out that organizations that are constantly developing are those that constantly develop innovative projects and submit them to the competition.
“It’s not always important to win, but to compete, because it allows us to be at the forefront of issues that set trends,” said González, who was re-elected this week for another term at the head of the chambers.
