Through a statement, the union organization also expresses its rejection of the law proposal designed by the Avanza País bench to privatize the state oil company, the only company that functions as a marker for lower fuel prices in Peru. .
“The people of Talara will take to the streets to defend the company of all Peruvians, we are coordinating with the mayors to flag the entire city as a sign of Peruvianness, to the prefects and sub-prefects of our province in order to go out to protest against “this neoliberal attack that wants to take away our oil and Petroperú lots,” the letter states.
In addition, Fenahid declares the Piura congressmen, Miguel Ciccia, Maricruz Zeta, Eduardo Castillo and César Revilla “personas non grata”, for voting in favor of the censure of the Minister of Energy and Mines, Oscar Vera Gargurevich, after he ordered the reversal of the lots for Petroperú.
The Fenahid fighting platform proposes the recovery of oil lots I, V, VI, Z-2B and X in favor of Petroperú; the taxation of oil companies in the province of Talara; and the retention of 2.5% of Oil production in favor of Talara and its districts.
He also questions the extension of the current oil contracts in Talara for 3 years, requested by Confiep, Comex, SNI and the Talara Chamber of Commerce.
