In this sense, the Chamber of Commerce of Lima indicated in a press release that people who work on a non-working day like July 27 will receive a simple payment, without surcharge. According to article 2 of Supreme Decree 151, which establishes the non-working days in the year, the hours that were not worked on July 27 in the public sector must be recovered from the date following the non-working day and for a period of 10 immediately subsequent days. SIf we take into account that there is a long holiday until July 30, the compensation would be approximately 1 daily working hour between Monday, July 31 and Friday, August 4, as well as from the 7th to the 11th of that same month.
