FISE Voucher: the discount on the purchase of a gas cylinder for vulnerable families is extended to S/100

He Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) officialized an additional S/120 million item to extend to S/100 the discount of the FISE Vale aimed at the purchase of gas cylinders (LPG) among vulnerable families. This subsidy is also known as “Vale Pollo”.

Ministerial resolution No. 287-2023-MINEM/DM comes within the framework of Emergency Decree No. 021-2023, called “Con Punche Emergencia”, by which the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) authorized the transfer of S/ 2,716 million to attend to the damages caused by the climatic contingency in the interior of the country.

In this way, FISE beneficiaries will receive, exceptionally and for three months, an extended consumption voucher that will allow them to face the increase in inflation, helping to maintain the consumption capacity of the most vulnerable sectors of the population.

According to the Executive, this device would reach more than 1 million families (some 5 million benefited Peruvians) who are in a vulnerable economic situation and who belong to sectors with unsatisfied energy needs.
