After being presented as a new signing for Inter Miami last Sunday, Argentine Lionel Messi participated this Tuesday in his first training session at the club. Accompanied by Sergio Busquets, the two carried out activities on the pitch with the other players.
The pair also met up with an old acquaintance from their Barcelona. The team coach is the Argentine Tata Martino, who led the Catalan team in the 2013/14 season. He also coached Messi in the national team between 2014 and 2016.

The debut of the two athletes should happen this Friday, when Inter Miami faces Cruz Azul, from Mexico, for the League Cup. The match should attract many fans to Lockhart Stadium, the same place where Messi and Busquets were presented.
After spending two years in Paris Saint Germain (PSG), the Argentine star opted to leave the French club at the end of the season. Despite receiving proposals from Saudi football, Messi decided to head to the United States and agreed with the Miami team until June 2025.
Busquets was also another to sign with Inter on a two-year deal with no transfer costs for the Americans. The midfielder was at the end of his contract with Barcelona and decided not to renew after winning the last Spanish Championship.
