The price of the dollar opens June downwards and trades at S/3.6621

The price of the dollar opened the exchange session on Thursday, June 1, 2023 with a slight setback and was placed at S/3.6621, according to Bloombergwhich represented a retracement of -0.24% compared to Wednesday’s close when it was located at S / 3.6710, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

At 9.20 am, the green ticket in the parallel market was quoted at S/3,660 for the purchase and S/3,690 for the sale. While the referential exchange rate in the banking market was located at S/3.6480 for the purchase and S/3.7150 for the sale at the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP).

At the international level, according to the Reuters agency, the prices of basic metals rose, supported by the unexpected growth of manufacturing activity in China, the main consumer of metals. To this was also added the approval vote of the United States House of Representatives to suspend the debt ceiling.
