For the lawyer specializing in consumer law, jamie delgado, this type of practice is recurrent and “in bad taste”, since the user is confused. The lawyer points out that Indecopi should demand clarity from companies every time they take a measure of this type, while the latter must warn users about these changes.

“It is an issue that confuses consumers, and at a good time it is becoming public, because, of course, companies are free to sell their products [en la presentación que les parezca]; pBut, since it has been standardized in the market, users already have a residual memory of the product. This medium contacted the company Glory and asked him what the change in price and weight of his flagship product is due to. Among the factors that stood out was that raw materials at the international level have risen; Furthermore, they were affected by the attack suffered by one of their plants in December 2022 during the socio-political crisis.
