Government agreed to increase airport capacity and number of flights

The heads of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) and the Ministry of Health (Minsa); Roberto Sanchez and Hernando Cevallos, respectively, announced that it was agreed to increase the capacity at Lima airports, such as the Jorge Chavez, and the regions; as well as the number of flights, with a view to further reactivate the sightseeing.

According to the Mincetur, the decision was made in a joint meeting between both portfolios, which was held this Tuesday, November 16.

In addition, the opening of the Tumbes and Tacna borders was announced after the universal vaccination was completed, in order to reactivate tourism.
