The provincial councils have modified the regulations after the Constitutional Court annulled various aspects of the calculation of capital gains tax.
The three provincial councils have approved this Tuesday the respective urgent normative decrees that they modify the capital gains tax after the Constitutional Court ruling which declared null several aspects of the calculation of the same.
This approval comes after this Monday the Euskadi Tax Coordination Body (OCTE), in which the Basque Government, the three Basque provincial councils and city councils are present, agreed to this shared modification.
The three provincial councils have agreed to adapt the rules that regulate capital gains tax to give legal security to taxpayers and municipalities after the Constitutional ruling.
The new decrees will be published this Wednesday in the official gazettes of the three territories for their entry into force, as explained by sources from the respective councils.
