This has been said by the president of the Government of Navarra, Maria Chiviteduring his visit to the biomass plant of the company Power Energywhere he highlighted the “strategic” nature of this project, not only because of the investment, but also because “it will provide clean energy to the industrial ecosystem of the region, where there are companies that are large consumers of energy, and because it will put Sangüesa on the map of innovation”.
He thanked the company for having chosen the Autonomous Community to develop the project, called ‘Valle H2V Navarra’, and recalled the Government’s commitment to “offer viable solutions to Navarre companies so that they reduce their dependence on fossil fuels”. . “Green hydrogen is one of the answers, and we are working decisively so that the Foral Community takes the lead in promoting hydrogen as a new energy vector”, he said.
During the visit, the president was accompanied by the Minister of Economic and Business Development, Mikel Irujo, and several managers from Acciona Energía and AccionaPlug.
