The inspectors reminded the suppliers that they must comply with their obligations established in the Consumer Protection and Defense Code, such as providing the products and services in accordance with what is offered, in the conditions and forms announced; in addition to displaying the price list in an accessible and easy-to-perceive place for the customer.
In addition, providers must have the claims book (physical or virtual). It should be noted that the sheet must comply with the characteristics required by current regulations and have a notice of this with the updated format, as provided by the standard, which must also be displayed in a place accessible to the public.
Consumers must have access to timely, sufficient, truthful and relevant information about the good and/or service they offer. Likewise, in the event that there is any difference in the price based on the means of payment, such as credit cards or others, this must be disseminated through posters, notices or other similar, easily visible to the public. They must be provided with information on the costs, including the General Sales Tax (IGV) and other applicable charges.

This Tuesday, February 14, the last concert of Romeo Santos as part of his “The Formula Volume No. 3” tour, at the National Stadium; For this reason, the Indecopi Inspection Department verifies that what is offered to users is complied with, that the validation of tickets is carried out according to what was reported by the event promoter and that the respective security measures have been implemented.
If the suppliers of goods or services do not fulfill their obligations, they could be sanctioned by the resolution bodies of Indecopi with up to 450 UIT, that is, S/2 million 227,500.
