Logistics sector will require 17 million specialist technicians

He logistics sector has shown growth in the Peruvian market, so it is expected that in the next 10 years around 17 million technical professionals for that fieldaccording to the study by the firm PwC.

This area can cover the items of food, clothing, entertainment, gifts, as well as sports, since everything needs planning and transportation. In this way, many companies are adapting to new forms of services that complement their value chain, storage, distribution and handling of their products.

Currently, in Peru there are 58 logistics, transport and distribution training companies. According to the report, 85% of students are hired at the end of their studies and salaries range between S/1,025 and S/1,800 if they work as graduates and assistants. Likewise, if the position of analyst, supervisor, coordinator and head of logistics is held, the salary ranges from S/2,500 to S/8,000.

It should be noted that this sector is one of the keys of the companies because they ensure that the products reach the recipients and people.
