The head of the Ministry of Production (Produce), Jorge Luis Prado, announced that his office will seek to facilitate the participation of micro and small companies (Mypes) in the country in the State purchasing processes.
“An additional measure is the proposal to modify Legislative Decree 1414 (approved in 2018), which authorizes the Ministry of Production to form executing purchasing nuclei to promote and facilitate access for Mypes to public acquisitions”, he stated during a press conference of the Council of Ministers.
The official also reported that, through the “Your company” program, six additional fairs have been implemented for Gamarra businessmen to sell their products nationwide.
“We have included a training schedule for the employers of the emporium on the use of the digital platform and Peru Unstoppable. In addition, together with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, training will be offered on the export productive route”, he added.
He recalled that Produce recently created a fund of S / 800 million for credits aimed at Mypes in the textile and clothing sector.
