Taxi driver leader requests intervention from Osinergmin and the Ombudsman’s Office at service stations.
LPG price. In the last few hours, there was a slight increase in the cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at Chiclayo service stations (Lambayeque region) due to abnormal waves on the Peruvian coastaccording to the leader of taxi drivers, Wilson Míñope Carbajal.
The Republic made a tour and found that at the service station, located at the intersection of José Balta and Francisco Bolognesi avenues, the fuel has a value of S/8.99, when it was offered at S/7.40 in previous days.
“So far, there is LPG in the taps, but the price is already starting to rise. We demand that the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (osinergmin) and the Ombudsman to intervene, because the stabilization fund is still in force”, the trade unionist referred to this newspaper.

Miñope Carbajal mentioned that the 80% of the 45,000 vehicles in the Chiclayo automotive fleet use this fuel. He warned of a possible shortage if the abnormal waves continue, because the ships in the port of Salaverry (Trujillo) and Pisco are not unloading.
“Currently the pass is normal on the roads, we only have the inconveniences due to the weather, but, in the protests of the previous weeks, there was a decrease in the supply of LPG in Chiclayo,” he concluded.
