The National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) approved an exceptional procedure so that taxpayers with a balance in their deduction accounts can request the release of these funds to use said resources in their commercial activities; This measure is part of the Con Punche Peru plan of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) to reactivate the economy.
The benefited taxpayers will be those whose monthly declarations of the tax periods from November 2021 to October 2022 they would have had income of up to 1,700 UIT (S/7.8 million annual income).
The request is submitted only once from today until Friday, January 13 through Sunat Online Operations (see infographic), and this includes the accumulated balance in the account until January 4, 2023. The entity recommends verifying that your interbank account code (CCI) is active, since crediting the account is the fastest and most direct option.
Also, Alex Contreras, owner of FEM, recalled that the second benefit approved, for the benefit of mypes, “is the extension for 30 days of the declaration and payment of taxes, monthly return and the keeping of books and accounting records for January, which represents an additional injection of S/3,200 million”, he specified.
