The community of Morrhinos, a Brazilian municipality located in Goiás, was the place for a 27-year-old girl to defraud her entire community by shaving her head and asking for support to pay for her treatment against an alleged breast cancer.

The woman reported that the disease had metastasized to the lungs and intestines, a diagnosis for which there is no medical document.

Identified as Camilla Barbosa dos Santos, the girl carried out campaigns, charity lunches and raffles in which she raised about 20,000 Brazilian reais (about $3,806), according to a preliminary survey conducted by delegate Fernando Gontijo.

Until now, Camila has not presented documents or tests to the authorities that prove the presence of cancer in her body and her only defense has been the videos and photos of her in the chemotherapy room of the Araujo Jorge Hospital, in addition to her shaved hair. .

The woman affirms that in this health center she began her treatment and received seven chemotherapy sessions, although the board assures that they have never had a Camila Barbosa as a cancer patient or a private patient, as indicated by Portal 6.

Likewise, the Araujo Jorge Hospital reported that the young woman was constantly taken out of the premises for taking photos of the stretchers in the Chemotherapy Sector, a place she entered using an internal hospital identification on behalf of a third party.

Delegate Fernando Gontijo also indicated that the largest donors were Barbosa’s ex-boyfriends and ex-mothers-in-law, while defense attorney Warley Divino Pires argues that the Brazilian did not receive any money and was diagnosed with a milder type of cancer.
