The Social Security Standardization Office (ONP) reported that next Friday, January 6, the extraordinary bonus to the pensioners of Decree Law 20530. He specified that this payment will be made in compliance with Emergency Decree 026-2022, published on December 27, 2022.
The entity explained that 34,459 pensioners of unemployment, widowhood and orphanhood will benefit for this subsidy. “The bonus amounts to S/200, In case the pensioner has a monthly gross income, for all concepts, less than or equal to S/2,000, they will be granted an additional S/100”, said the ONP.
Regarding the method of payment, the institution reminded pensioners that the bonus will be deposited in the bank account in which their pension is delivered each month and that the money can be withdrawn whenever they wish. However, in the event that the collection is made under the home payment modality, the bonus will be delivered together with the pension for the month of January 2023.
It should be noted that the delivery of a bonus for up to S / 300 additional to the usual amount that public workers receive for Christmas bonus is part of the Con Punche Peru plan, promoted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Its purpose is to address the situation of economically vulnerable people due to the effects derived from the latest protests.
