“We want to celebrate the fifth anniversary with pride and joy. In the capitals and in all the towns where we are present, multiple and diverse initiatives are being prepared,” the movement highlighted.

The Euskal Herria Pensioners Movement has announced that the next January 16on the occasion of the celebration of its fifth anniversary, will develop a day of mobilizations It will have many activities.

In a statement, the collective recalled that its birth on January 15, 2018 It was the result of “weariness and weariness of the pensioner world due to the humiliating increase in pensions with 0.25% and the need to put an end to the loss of purchasing power of pensions”.

In this sense, and after recalling its objective of achieving public and dignified pensions and, above all, a minimum pension of 1,080 euros”, they affirm that they are “proud of what they have done, and willing to continue standing and continue fighting”.

“We want to celebrate the fifth anniversary with pride and joy. In the capitals and in all the towns where we are present, multiple and diverse initiatives are being prepared,” they highlighted.

In this way, they have set Monday, January 16 as the central date of the celebration so that both in Donostia, Bilbao, Gasteiz as well as in Pamplona and several other towns, they will hold rallies, parades, popular meals and recreational initiatives.

The celebration will be accompanied by the publication of a book, at the price of 10 euros, on the ‘Bizikleta Martxa Pensioner‘ which they carried out last summer. They will also publish a magazine that collects the trajectory of the Pensioners Movement since its foundation.
