Corsica Ferries hires about 100 seasonal workers every summer to strengthen its workforce as passenger travel increases between Corsica and the mainland.
The ferry company transports 3.5 million passengers each year. During peak summer months, employees must maintain a fast pace from boarding operations to restaurant service.
Ferry operations and staffing
To look after travelers, the ferry crew consists of around 100 workers distributed across cabins, reception, the engine room, and dining areas.
