Climax of the Thousand-Year Blood War
The storyline of the fourth part follows the aftermath of the third installment, advancing the conflict between the Soul Society and the Wandenreich empire to its final conclusion. The plot centers on Quincy leader Yhwach, who has absorbed the power of the Soul King and is attempting to restructure existence by merging the realms of life and death.
To prevent total global destruction, protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki and his allies must ascend to the Royal Palace to confront Yhwach and his forces. The final chapter presents the definitive battles of the war, the full unveiling of remaining Bankai abilities, and an expanded conclusion developed by Kubo.

Bleach originated as a manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. The original television anime series produced by Studio Pierrot aired on TV Tokyo from 2004 to 2012, adapting the majority of the manga narrative prior to the final arc.
The anime returned in October 2022 with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War to adapt the remaining story chapters of the manga.
