Anatoly Balakhonov has been sentenced to three years and one month in a penal colony for abusing his partner's young daughter in Pervouralsk.
A court in the city also ordered Balakhonov to pay a fine of 130,000 rubles after convicting him of the systematic mistreatment of the underage child.

The press service for the regional judicial system announced the sentence in an official update published on its Telegram channel.
Judges established that the abuse occurred over a seven-month period between March 1 and September 27, 2025. During that time, Balakhonov repeatedly tormented the young girl while he was in a state of alcohol intoxication, using the pretext of upbringing and discipline to justify his actions over minor and trivial matters.
According to the findings presented in court, the defendant subjected the child to regular physical beatings. Balakhonov repeatedly struck the girl on her head, neck, shoulders and legs. In addition to the physical attacks, he systematically insulted the child and threatened her with physical violence.
Court findings and judicial verdict
During the court proceedings, Balakhonov refused to admit guilt for the offenses and denied the allegations against him. However, state prosecutors submitted a comprehensive body of evidence to the court, which judges determined was fully sufficient to prove his guilt beyond doubt.
Pervouralsk is an industrial city of more than 110,000 residents located in Sverdlovsk Oblast, situated along the Chusovaya River in the Ural Mountains region of western Russia.
